Charlotte was just eight months old when her father & comedy legend Les Dawson, died suddenly and most unfortunately of a heart attack. Miss Dawson definitely shares a sense of humour with her father – who became one of Britain’s most loved comedians in the Seventies and still remains a legend with his mother-in-law jokes and portrayal of a disapproving northern housewives; she can even mimic his famous gurn!

Even though Les hasn’t been around in person to see Charlotte grow up, his lasting spirit has been most present in her life and Charlotte has grown up feeling the entertainment business around her and is and is keen to keep the Dawson legacy alive by pursuing a successful career in the industry and making herself a household name. A lot of the older generation know who Charlotte’s father Les was, but not so much the younger generation and she wants to change that. She wants to be a good role model for young girls, and her dream is to eventually to design & produce her own brand of Clothing, Lingerie, Swim Wear, Make up or Perfume.

Charlotte has already received a lot of press attention, but is keen to work hard to ensure she gains as much experience as possible to learn her craft. Charlotte is evolving her talents and is keen to learn as much about the industry as possible and is continually developing her skills by taking regular coaching in Singing, Dance & Presenting. Having previously studied Gymnastics – Charlotte can even do the splits!

In 2013, ITV presented an 'An Audience with Les Dawson' - a show that was meant to be produced and aired back in 1993. Les never got to record that show, passing away only two weeks prior.
Using cutting edge 3D holographic technology, ITV was able to bring the much-loved comedian back on stage, allowing him to entertain audiences once more.
As well as providing a chance to reflect on the great comedian's life, it was also a touching moment for Charlotte - giving her an opportunity to meet her father as an adult for the first time, and allowing her to share the stage with her beloved father.

In 2016, Charlotte appeared on the MTV show 'Ex on the Beach', being 'chuffin' awesome and becoming a firm favourite amongst viewers.

As a self-confessed drama queen, Charlotte has been acting her life.
Her debut consisted of being thrown into pantomine, playing the title role of Aladdin at the Empire Theatre in Consett. Her performance was reviewed as ‘a thigh-slapping star’, proving herself on stage.
From here she went on to tour around the country in a Ray Cooney farce, a comedy called 'A Bed Full of Foreigners', playing the role of a French stripper.
She followed this up with WAG! The Musical where she played the role of ‘Charmaine’ a ditzy bimbo at the Ye Olde Rose and Crown Theatre in Walthamstow.

Most recently, Charlotte starred in the play 'A Taste of Honey,' written by Shelagh Delaney in 1958. It is here she discovered her true acting potential as the powerful play took her out of her comfort zone, and a far cry from playing the usual sexy comedic roles.

Charlotte has taken a few years out of acting to focus on her make-up business, but is now once again looking out for possible roles.
